Members will have to accomplish certain tasks to obtain a certain rank or title, such as having posted x posts in the forums, having participated in a x amount of clan wars, or having recommended x players to [SoA].
1st Rank - War Captains

The main task of the War Captains is to set up clan wars versus other clans. This implies organizing clan practices (in which the members practice the strategies made by the War Captain), but most importantly, choosing who is illegible to join the war roster. The War Captain is free to choose whoever he or she wants to join his roster, and it is his/her responsibility to train the members that need it. Clan wars versus other clans will be organized by War Captains. They are responsible of reporting clan war results on the forums, by following the method described here:

The War Captains are remote admins on all [SoA] servers, in addition of being forum moderators. They can at any time remove a member from their roster if they judge that he/she is not ready to participate in a clan war yet.
Requirements to join
Becoming a War Captain comes with a price. We expect from every applicant to be very implicated with [SoA]. Here are some criteria which the applicant will have to fulfill to be able to integrate this exclusive group:
- 3 or more years of experience with Battlefield 1942 and/or Battlefield 1942 Secret Weapons of WWII Demo.
A good applicant knows most stock (retail) maps well (flag locations, vehicle locations, spawns, Conquest strategies).
- Having at least 125 forum posts (Corporal)
- Having participated in at least 5 clan wars in Battlefield 1942 or Battlefield 1942 Secret Weapons of WWII Demo
- Having participated in at least 5 clan meetings in Battlefield 1942 or Battlefield 1942 Secret Weapons of WWII Demo
Once a member will have fulfilled all the requirements above, he or she may PM a leader to become a War Captain. The leader will then proceed as soon as possible to reject or accept the demand of the applicant.
2nd Rank - Recruitment Officers

As their name implies, the Recruitment Officers are in charge of accepting new applicants into [SoA]. While every member that is not a Recruitment Officer might recommend a member to [SoA], only a Recruitment Officer will recruit the applicant into the clan. The Recruitment Officers are in charge of making sure an applicant has all it takes to join [SoA]. Depending on the skill of the applicant, the Recruitment Officer in charge will decide wether it is necessary to tryout the applicant by dueling him or her. A good Recruitment Officer knows where to look to find potential recruits, and dedicates part of his time with the clan looking for the said recruits. He or she is an enthusiastic person that knows how to convince people of the qualities of [SoA].
Requirements to join
- Having at least 125 forum posts (Seargeant)
- Having recommended 10 or more members to [SoA]
Please note that these two ranks will only come into effect once regular members (a member who just joined the clan) reach the requirements needed to join either of the ranks. Until then, all the respective functions of these two ranks (recruiting, organizing clan wars and clan practices) are assumed by the leaders and founders.
