    Welcome to the official SW Demo League for the 2011 season!
    This league is hosted by the SWD Community.

    This season, the league will consist of three distinct ladders: an infantry ladder, a tank ladder and a dogfight ladder. Many exciting competitions will be hosted in the league, so be prepared! For now, ladder and cup rankings will be viewable on the SWD Community Forums. Team sign-up will also be done on the SWD Community Forums.     1. How to join

    To join the league, you must first select a preferred ladder. You can either choose from infantry, tanks or dogfight. Your team must consist of no less than 5 members. ALL members must have Xfire or your application to join a ladder will be rejected. Please note that only clan/team leaders may apply to join a ladder. Once a clan/team has joined a ladder, it's respective leader will be given Remote Manager access to the league server. Here is how an application to join a ladder should look like:

    1) Your nickname
    2) Your clan/team
    3) Clan/team's website/forums
    4) Your roster, including every member's Xfire
    5) Your ladder of interest (choose between infantry, tanks or dogfight)

    Once an application has been submitted to our team of admins, we will review it promptly and tell you where to go from there. Please note that everyone should be familiar with the league rules before joining the ladder. We will impose heavy penalties on players who do not abide by the rules.
    * Please note that joining a ladder is not done on an individual basis. If you do not have a team, you must find/create one before joining the ladder.


    2. League Rules

    2.1. General Rules
    To keep a civil and respecftul atmosphere in the league at all times, we ask that league members observe and abide to the following rules. Please note that a referee will be present at every match to make sure no rule is broken. If it is the case, a penalty will be given to the player which broke the rule. The refereeres reserve the right to kick/ban a player from a match for disobediance.
    Here are additional rules players should follow:

    - Please respect your opponents and be modest in defeat. No flagrant insults/trash talking will be tolerated
    - During matches, absolutely NO ragequiting (sudden quiting of a player with no warning) will be tolerated. Doing so will make the opposing team win unconditionnally.
    - Please stick to one nickname for all your matches, to keep things simple for everyone
    - Clan/team leaders may not change their line up in a match between rounds.
    - Please be on time for your scheduled matches! A clan/team has the right to claim a forfeit win if one of the opposite team's members doesn't show 5 minutes after the scheduled time.
    - Please play by the ladder rules at all times. Not doing so will give you a penalty.
    - All players must have the Anticheat as all ladder matches will be done with it

    2.2. Infantry ladder rules
    Supported maps:
    Church CTF 2v2
    Fight For Church CQ 5v5 (Content-Check Off)
    Fight For All CQ 5v5 (Content-Check Off)
    Trap Town CTF 5v5 (Content-Check Off)
    Hellendoorn Pure TDM 5v5

    Here are the rules players must respect during infantry ladder wars:

    - Deliberate use of bugs/glitches to have an advantage over other players will result in a kick. We have a 0 tolerance policy on bugs and glitches and if you are caught more than once, you are banned from the ladder pure and simple
    - No explosives (grenades, Mauser K98 nades and exppacks) shall be used in Fight For Church Conquest. In fact, they will be modded out in that mod
    - In Fight For Church (FFC) Conquest wars, no "outside" (a player outside church killing an enemy that is also outside church) will be allowed. 2nd story is also prohibited. Once a team is in the church, they are obliged to stay in it and defend it. No church bugging shall be tolerated, so stay out of bug spots (space between the benches before the stairs the 2nd story), crouch/prone bugging behind benches
    - In Fight For Hellendoorn (FFH) TDM wars, Schwimmwagens and Goblins may only be used to get to Hellendoorn, and may NOT be used to kill enemy players.
    - No camping of mains once you have captured Hellendoorn in FFH TDM
    - In Trap Town CTF, no expacks at flagpoles will be allowed. No camping of mains as well


    2.3. Tank ladder rules

    Supported maps:
    Hellendoorn Tanks Only CQ 5v5 (Content-Check Off)
    Hellendoorn Fight For Hellendoorn CQ 2v2 (Content-Check Off)
    Hellendoorn Fight For Hellenddorn TDM 2v2 (Content-Check Off)

    Here are the rules players must respect during infantry ladder wars:

    - Only tanks may be used in battle
    - No stealing of enemy vehicles in TDM or Conquest
    - In FFH TDM, no camping of mains will be tolerated
    - In FFH Conquest, no camping of mains will be tolerated
    - No pixeling allowed (shooting a shell, suiciding and following it on death cam to see where it lands)

    2.4 Dogfight ladder rules
    Hellendoorn Goblins Only TDM 3v3 (Content-Check Off)

    - Only Goblins may be used
    - No bailing out when being shot down by an enemy
    - All wars are done in TDM only
    - No shooting down planes that are taking off
    - Don't shoot infantry on the ground with your Goblin
    - All weapons should be disabled
