It would be nice if BF1942 server would be created with no mods running. I dont like when I am getting killed 10 times without getting a frag, I bring shame to SoA on public servers. I would like to bring shame on our server. I will tell you secretly... I dont like Secret Weapons very much. Don't tell anyone.

Yea, that would be geat idea to make a BF1942 clan server. Any way, i can host it if somebody will configure some maps (more spawns of planes etc.)

@ Burak: Do you mean that you would prefer if the SW Demo server didn't run any mods?
@ JARHEAD: A second host for Battlefield 1942 would really be appreciated. I can help you set you up the maps for the server if you want. How many people do you think you can have without lag?

i can make a few mod maps too. just tell me which maps you wanted modded. just add extra vehical spawns?
list what you want.
example:

- no tanks
- extra plane spawns and main bases
- nitro jeep

just map name and what you want modded and me or mamba will get you the file.

I rather meant bf1942 server, not secret weapons. If it's only SW clan I can still play on hellendorn, but I like pure battlefield 1942 more. Thanks.

I need some help with modding, also tell your propositions of map lists. What is to do:
- turbo jeeps on specific maps
- add jeeps in Berlin
- K98/No4 must be more powerful (1shot=1kill)
- faster spawns of planes in El Alamein

what program do you working with? editor42? BC?

I had minor lag when I tried it this morning, but other than that it worked fine.
I think it's a great idea to have two servers at different locations. That way we can get an European clientele to play on the polish server and potentially recruit more European players.

We should make [SoA] members vote on what map(s) they would prefer on the server, and what mods to run. I'll make a poll topic on that matter ASAP. If people prefer server-side mods JARHEAD, then I shall make those modifications for you.

JARHEAD, any specific reason why you don't host the BF1942 server anymore?

Hosting on my personal computer is not possible (now!) my internet suck, also gameplay will be laggy.
